MWI light not on, message not sent out

unity 403 server, Exchange 2000, UM.

when left message to the subscriber, MWI light not turning on, and people get nothing in the Exchabge mailbox. found the message are still stay at UMR path C:\Commserver\UnityMTA folder.

what is the problem?

check the app logs. please post all the errors.

are all the messages failing, or just those coming from outside callers? any issues when one subscriber tries to leave a vm for another sub?

did this problem start occuring after there was a problem with exchange or a change (such as a new mail server)?

the logical link between unity and exchange was down. you can restart the AvUmrSyncSvr service to fix it or a reboot of unity should fix it also.

Rebooted the unity server, problem sovled.
