Messages in mailbox, no light. Resynch doesn't work. X is in the MWI field on the messages link of subscriber. Profile page has the extension in the proper field. MWI works fine on all other users. I found a duplicate mailbox in exchange and deleted it. This mailbox had 0 messages while the other had 50. Once I deleted the mailbox that had 0 the user was able to retrive messages. I wonder if the MWI is still linked to the mailbox that had 0 messages somehow? Do I need to have this subscrber account rebuilt to get this to work?
Thanks,
Jason

Hello -
We recently had a similar problem with a single user whose mailbox got corrupted. A restore of the inbox was successful and the user could access voicemail from both the phone/Outlook, but no MWI. CiscoUnity_Notifier was unable to login to the user's mailbox and reported so in the application event log. I worked with TAC and tried several things - rebuilding her MAPI profile, corrected a key in her registry which was pointing to incorrect mail server, resynching MWI for the user etc. But what cleared the problem finally was a delete/recreate of her mailbox. We only import users from AD/Exchange, so we did not delete her AD account. Once we rebuilt her Exchange inbox, MWI began working again.

Ginger

Thanks for the info. I may try a couple of the things you mention. I also have a Cisco case open at this time. They are suggesting that I run the 'Remove User Properties' in an attempt to fix this.
Thanks,
Jason

Hi Jason -
Good to talk with you via posts :-) Since you have a case open, I would follow TAC's instructions first. I did omit in my prior post that we also had tried deleting/recreating the user in Unity. Best wishes!
Ginger
