hi, we're using Unity 4.0(5) with CCM 4.1(3) sr3a. We find that when user login Unity and retreive message, after finish listening the message and then hangup without any action of save or delete message. Then, MWI is still ON and marked as new message. It cause confusion with the user.
Can it be fixed?

In Unity 4.0(5) you can change the behavior system wide by setting the following setting in the Advanced Settings Tool. Note that in later versions of Unity, this is a per user option.
Conversation - Mark messages read upon hang-up
HKLM\ SOFTWARE\ Active Voice\ Conversations\ 1.0\ Message Playback\
DWORD : Upon Hangup Mark Read
If this key is missing or set to 0 we default to marking a message as unread if a user hangs up before taking action on the message (I.e. deleting it, moving to the next message etc.). This is the normal behavior since folks that disconnect accidentially don't want to have to go fishing for their message in the read message stack. If it's set to 1, however, we will mark the message as read if the user hangs up while listening to it. Please set this only if you're absolutely sure that's what you want Unity to do.

tks. I also would like to ask whether Unity can delete all the read and unsaved messages after a defined period, say 14 days.

Sounds like it might be a job for the Message Store Manager utility. Check out the tools help file and see if it will do what you need.
