Hi everyone,
We have a job coming up where we will need to integrate a NEC NEAX 2400 IPX PBX with Cisco Call Manager Buisness Edition version 9.x that will be installed at a existing building. I am hoping someone has done an integration similiar to this and may have some information on how to integrate the NEC with Cisco Callmanager and Unity Connection.

Hi Ovindo.
based on this datasheet, it supports both SIP trunk and E1 ISDN PRI.
On both case I can suggest you to cosider the use of a Voice Gateway to interconnect CUCM with Nec PBX via SIP trunk or through an E1 link.

Here is an example of integration with a CME through an E1 link on two sites.

Dear Carlo,
1. Which solution that can be the best solution for this case? SIP Trunk or E1 ISDN PRI?
2. Do I still need to use a Voice Gateway for SIP trunk between CUCM and this NEC NEAX 2400 IPX PBX???
3. What about concurrent call between (IP Phone) CUCM and this (Analog Phone) NEC NEAX 2400 IPX PBX?
