Picture this: An outside caller calls in through the voice gateway. The VG (with connection PLAR setting pointing to the voice mail pilot number) forwards this call to the CallManager and ends up in Unity. The caller can hear the greetings and the "Please wait while I transfer your call" prompt after keying in the subscriber number. After that, the caller doesn't hear any progress tones or MOH. Though, the called subscriber's phone is ringing at this point... up until it is answered.
So far, the overall integration is working, except for the progress tones or MOH during transfers done by Unity. The MOH server is working fine, since CallManager transfers and holds (via the softkeys) are ok.

Hi -
Check the Device pool configuration setting in CCM for the voice mail ports. Is there an MOH audio file specified for User Hold?

My bad. I forgot to set the proper codec (g711ulaw) on the voice gateway voip dial-peer.
It's working now. Thanks :)

Hello, did setting the codec fix your ringback problem as well?

Yes it did. Both "Release to switch" and "Supervise transfer" are working to expectation.
Release to switch would provide the caller a ringback tone. While supervise transfer provides MOH.
