Hi everyone,
We have two Sites:
Site1: UM 4.0(4)/ Exchange2003/AD/ Callmanager Cluster (DN: XXX)
Site2: Exchange2003/AD/ Callmanager Cluster (DN:XXXX)
Some few User from Site2 will have access to ONE VM . This VM is from one DN. So the VM for this Directory Number will be send via Email to one email Account (say i.e sale@xyz.com). This Users must have also the ability to click the Message Button on their Phones and get this VMs from there too. So how i can achieve this? keep in mind that this are two domaines with just one unity!!!.
Thanks for Help.

Hi -
Unity can integrate to multiple CallManagers using the UTIM in the Unity Tools Depot. The issue will be how your AD/Exchange is organized. Is this one AD? How are the Exchange servers organized - i.e. within one organization, single administrative group? Or is each Exchange server in its own administrative group?

Hi -
For the integration with multiple CallManagers, one Unity, you can refer to this general guideline link (note the required information for designating MWI ports on the Unity server for each CallManager cluster) - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_white_paper09186a00800872c8.shtml
You will also need the specific integration guide for your version of CallManager to create the voice port definitions for the Unity server. Here is the current CallManager 4.1(3) link as an example - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00803edaf3.html
Note that if you are running CallManager 3.X, the voice port definitions are done differently than CallManager 4.X, which uses hunt lists for voicemail.
For Unity to Exchange messaging - check out the Unity Design Guide Chapter 4 - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_implementation_design_guide_book09186a008022f63b.html
I'm going to assume you meant two Active Directory domain controllers (1 DC for each domain), not two separate Active Directory forests. If I assumed incorrectly, reply here, because I have limited experience with forest to forest Active Directory trusts and none with Unity in this type of environment. Secondly, you mentioned two sites - are these LAN connected sites or WAN connected? Unity and Exchange have specific response requirements - less than 40 milliseconds response. I have seen delays when Unity and Exchange were not in the same subnet. You may want to review this guide and contact your Cisco account team for design recommendations. If both domains are in the same AD forest, the Unity Permissions Wizard can be run to provide the necessary permissions in both. You will also need to run the Exchange Delegation Wizard to give the Unity message store service account rights to both Exchange information stores - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/products_installation_guide_chapter09186a008022b8c3.html
You can also access the permissions wizard help on your current Unity server - it will provide additional information.
