Our receptionist can't login into the main # 2500 vm box?
I don't see a subscriber for 2500.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Hi Matt,
If this is a "Main" number, I would look for it a a Call Handler perhaps :)
Cheers!

Rob,
Yes it is a Call Handler...

Hi Matt,
A Call Handler can take a message and be associated with a Mailbox via "user with mailbox" under the Message setting section of the Call Handler setup. What are you trying to change/find??
Cheers!

Rob,
Our receptionist is trying to login into the mailbox when messages are left when she is away from the desk.
She told me the old phone admin reset the user account passwd! - I do not know what account she is speaking about.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt,
OK, this makes sense :) You need to reset the PIN that is associated to the Extension/DN that the admin is using on her phone.
Cheers!

Go to the phone where she is, and ask her to dial the vicemail box. She must know the mailbox number or the line it came from.
Then trace it backwards in CUCM. From the phone she is on has a vm profile (default or maybe a different profile)
Then go to VM Profile and see if there is a VM Mask.
Note the mask or if no mask, its the same number from the line on the phone.
Go to Unity and search for this.
