Pre-creating the Unity OU within another OU

Hi,

I know that once Unity has been installed there is a method to move the Unity OU. But can you pre-create one, nested somewhere within the OU structure, and then change the installation mechanism to look at that location.

I have a situation (political reasons of course) where it needs to be done before the installation of Unity, and not after.

By they way, what happenned to the official document on this subject. It used to be at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/AVVID/nested-unity-ous.html

Cheers,

Jeremy.

When you run the permissions wizard you select containers where you want new users created, new DLs created and the location objects created - you can pick any container you want so if you've setup your OU tree as you want it ahead of time, it's just a matter of picking those containers during PW - this sets the registry keys used by the directory monitor when selecting a location for new objects to go.
