Problem Importing user to Unity

Hello,

I have a strange issue importing a single user to unity
Unity version 10 (exchange integration)

Tried to add a user to Unity server and it does not find her when they try to import her.
- checked to see if she is already on the server and she is not.
- Able to add other users without any issue.
- Checked for spaces of special characters in AD and all looks good.

Are there any logs i could take or checks, to see why this user does not show up?

Do you have an LDAP filter configured on your directory config (CUC admin > LDAP > LDAP Directory Configuration > LDAP Custom Filter)? This filter could exclude users based on certain criteria (such as object class, company name, email address, etc.).

Is the user in a container that is included in your LDAP search directory?

Does the user have both last and first name defined?

Is the user not disabled on LDAP by any chance?

Next, pull Tomcat logs and search for clues.

Many thanks for the feedback Brandon, we've checked but there are no custom filters

Many thanks Brandon and Chris for your suggestions. Turned out as previously suspected, a field in AD had not been filled. This was despite insisting it had been checked a couple of times, when the check was suggested.

Excellent. Please mark the thread as answered if you don't have further questions.
