Q: Upgrading from 4.X to 7.X with DMA Tool

Once the DMA has created the converted file. We upgrade the Publisher using the answer auto-generated file that the DMA created and during the upgrade, it pulls the large database file from the file server. Is it only during the Publisher upgrade that it has to pull this big file. Do the Subscriber just require a upgrade and the answer auto-generated file? They don't need to copy the large backup database file that the DMA created?

All you will need is the autogenerated configuration files and the cluster security password you set on the Publisher. The data

base is only loaded on the Publisher.
