Hi team,

I need to know while creating the corporate directory on CUCM is that possible to give preference to any particular entry for that user to be selected by default on the endpoint.

Like If I have one extension and Directory URI configured for that user in corp directory and when I search that user on endpoint( codec) is that possible I can choose the number to be selected by default and not the Directory URI.

Any option available to make this possible to select which ID to be selected first on endpoints.

If you have URI dialing setup correctly, it shouldnt matter if the end point dialed the extension *OR* the URI.  It will still ring the endpoint.   Now, if you added URI strings to the endpoints and its not working, then you need to work on CUCM/DNS to make everything work correctly.  URI dialing is not a few here or there.. you have to configure it work all the way through or you will have odd exceptions to your dialing habits... IE,, dial this, not that.
