Remove countrycode +

Hi..

We have a Cisco ccm 8.6, from the CCM  we have sip trunks against our Sip servers behind the Cisco platform.

The issue i'm having is that the ANI (Calling party number) is shown as +46 (Sweden) in the from field in the invite to our system.

Is there any way that i can strip/remove the +46 in CCM so it doesnt come in against our Sip servers, the best would if I could transform +46 to 0046.

Been reading a lot about this and also tried some stuff but dont get it to work, so any pointers how to solve this would be greatly appriciated.

Hi there.

The best way to do this is at the gateway with voice translations or at CUCM with Calling Party Transformations or Called Party Transformations (sounds like you need Calling).

Calling/Called Party Transformations can be applied at the trunk in CUCM or Device Pool.  Ideally you want to create these in their own PT/CSS.  Then add the pattern to match it in Calling Party, then apply it to the incoming section of your trunk or gateway configuration.    I typically use these with Called Party Transformations.   I will translate 7,10 and 11 digit dialing plans to e.164 plans. If the provider does not have support, I can simply transform the calling number back to normal 7,10,11d plans as need, per site or per gateway/trunk.
