RemoveSubscriberProperties shows no subscribers

Unity 4.0.2 - 2000 SP4

Exchange 5.5 offbox - 2000 SP4

Win2k AD

We recently upgraded client from 2.4.6.161 to 4.0.2 and will go to 4.0.3 shortly. We have a subscriber that's hosed. DBWalker reported ch_%name% handler as bad. We had DBWalker remove the subscriber. Unfortunaltey, it didn't. Anytime we accessed in SA we got errors. TAC instructed to remove user from SQL and remove properties from AD. Unfortunately, we launch RemoveSubscriberProperties and it shows noone as subscribers. None. SA lists them fine and VM works. Downloaded latest version of tool but it does same thing. Can I use ADSIEDIT or another tool to do what RemoveSubscriberProperties does? How can I clear the attributes manually? Have you ever seen the tool do that?

Thanks,

Rob

This tool only works for cleaning Unity properties off Active Directory accounts with Exchange 2000. If you are using Exchange 5.5 you must open Exchange in raw mode (use the “-r” option on the Exchange administrator) and remove custom attributes 12 and 14 from the users you want to clean.
