Router PRI to BRI configuration for Polycom

Hi,

4BRI-NT module configuration to Polycon device(RJ45). We got PRI connectivity from ISP. If anyone dials specific PRI group number it has to be diverted to Polycon directly for video conferencing.

Module - VWIC-2MFT-E1 + EM-4BRI-NT/TE available now.

Please help in any configurationt template.

Just configure dial-peer with the right numbers, and that's it.

For BRI you will need crossed cable, and network-side configuration.

All of that can be found on cisco.com using the search funcion.

Hi,

4BRI-NT not using RJ45 connector. It's different type of connector and we use MGCP gateway, whatever document we find in cisco it says h323.

For connecting the module you must buy a special patch panel from Blackbox as described in the datasheet. Or you can make it yourself according to the pinout in the user manual.

For local ISDN switching you must use H.323 or SIP, not MGCP.
