Self Provisioning for +E.164 numbers

I am trying to use Self Provisioning  for +E.164 format Primary extensions, when I do that I get an error from the IVR, if I remove the + from the DN the phone provisions fine. 

Has any one successfully tried it? 

I am running CUCM 11.5
