Customer wants two phone have same ext and share mailbox in UM enviroment. But in UM one mailbox can only associate with one email. So does this mean the other user won't receive voicemail in his emailbox but still will see the MWI.

How can both of them see the voicemail when only having one subscriber(one ext) and MWI on-off working after either one of retrieve the mail?

So presumably these users both have their own email address and you want folks to be able to address email/voice mail directly to them by addressing them by name or the like but when outside callers hit their phone, you want a copy of the message to be left in both their mailboxes? And presumably if they call in over the phone to get at their messages you want them to have seperate IDs so they can get at their own messages independantly of one another?

If this is accurate, that's kind of a trikcy problem to solve - if not, let me know what you're gunning for.

Probably the easiest way to do this type of thing would be to setup a voice mail user that has their exchange mailbox setup to move messages into these two user's mailboxes - have their phones forwarded to that one mailbox and when messages are left, they show up in both user's mailbox. Their phones can be tied to their own mailboxes in this case so they can get individual messages and such. A little awkward to setup and it burns 3 subscriber licenses for the two users but I think this would work.

If that's not what you're looking for, fill us in on some more of the details of how you want this to work.
