Speed Dials and Abbreviated Dialing

Hi,

I have a 7975 IP Phone with two 7916 addons. I have set button 1 and 2 as Line and want to configure the other 54 buttons as speed dials. The 7975 Phone template only allows me 40 speed dials after choosing button 1 and 2 as line. Why this limitation when the physical Phone with addons have 54 buttons programmable for speed dials.

For Abbreviated dialing, customer would like to avoid printing out a sheet to see what abbreviated dial number corresponds to number been called. Anyway around this?

Here are the details for this issue. This has been fixed in CUCM 7.1(3) versions with the 8.5(3) firmware, but no other versions.

Cisco Unified IP Phone 7975G = 42
