Can we use Tandberg boundary microphone as additional mic with Cisco 7937G Conference phone instead of Cisco extended Mics, with adapter taking XLR input and output to Cisco conference phone.
Within Cisco channels your answer will be no, only the optional microphone kit is supported.
The potentially good news is that the 7937G is just a rebranded (including SCCP firmware vs. SIP) Polycom SoundStation 7000. Polycom does make a few other accessories such as the Multi-Interface Input module which provides you analog input and output audio jacks. You may have better success going that route.
