Hi, is it seamless for VG3925 voice gateway to transition from the existing CUCM v10 to v14 with the same IP address? How about with LDAP Server, is there will be no problem arises when it communicates to a new and different CUCM server with the same IP?

Typically there are no differences. If you are using old IOS versions in VGs there might be a good idea to look this over and check the current compatibility matrix to check what the recommendations around IOS version to use are.

Specific comment on LDAP, there is no communication initiated from any defined LDAP server(s), this is always initiated by CM.

You can upgrade your CUCM to version 14 with your existing 3925.

As @Roger Kallberg mentioned verify the CSR 14 and your Gateway IOS compatibility from below link. Upgrade your gateway to the recoemmnded versions.

Your CUCM will be communicating with the configured LDAP servers.
