In one of our branch offices use Cisco UCS-500 for local IP telephony and PRI. Now we would like to integrate this system to our main offices so that we dial all the 4-digit extensions.
Is it possible to trunk Cisco UCS 500 with CUCM 9.0. ?

Hi
Yes, can you can create a trunk b/w ucs500 series and cucm 9.0 and use 4-digit site to site dialing.
It will be similar to configuring a h323 or sip trunk between cucm and gateway.

I am able to make calls from CUCM to UCS, but not the other way. The call will disconnect as soon as the RTP session starts. Also I am not able to watch the debugging logs on telnet session in UCS.

Provide the below two:
1) Config of your UC500
2) Turn on and capture the output of debug voip ccapi inout and post it here.

Hi
Seems you have codec negotiation problem when you are making calls from UCS to CUCM
. Can you post your UCS config here.
Maybe you have logging buffered enabled on your UCS as a result of which logs are not displayed on screen over telent session.

I have enabled "Enable inbound Faststart" on CUCM H323 Gateway configuration. It started working now.
