Hi,
I have a question. Would like to design a solution for the following scenario
Main location - 5000 end points
3 remote locations with 500, 700 and 100 end points
What is the best deployment solution? Will it be centralized call processing? If so what needs to be deployed at the location where we have more than 700 end points? Distributed call processing is not possible as the locations are far apart.
Please suggest a solution

Without going into tremendous detail, a solution can be accomplished by using one large IOS GW to support the 700 users or using 2 Gateways to split support for the site. If 2 gateways is not possible, then depending on the phone function, you could possibly have some of the 700 phones not register with SRST and leave only the designated phones with SRST capability.
But if you go with a 3845, you should be able to support 730 SCCP/SIP devices, and if you want to split the load, you can use 2 3825's to support 350 each.
For a high level design consideration, these are a few options if Clustering over the WAN is not possible.

Thanks Dan. But today, i checked in Cisco website and it said Cisco 3945 SRST G2 support upto 1200 phones.
Hope these ISR's are available in the market currently

With the release of the 3900 series routers, you are correct that they now offer support for a higher SRST phone count. The 3925 can support up to 730 SRST devices and the 3945 can support up to 1200 phones in SRST mode.
