Hi,
We setup a integration with Exchange UM 2010 for voice mail as posted in this document http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=D5DB0297-7850-4F52-B965-B8006B4C05F5&displaylang=en
Internal calls are being send to the voice mail pilot number and Exchange server is answering with the right prompt but external calls are getting a busy signal at the moment the call should be transfered to Exchange,
The scenario is the following:
PSTN--->Gateway(Cisco 2901)---->CM Cluster---->Exchange2010
Guessing the problem is route pattern, dial plan, codec ou somewhat else.
Any help will be welcome.
Thanks
Celio

Like you said, it could be caused by multiple things.
I would check codec first. Do you have MTP enabled for the SIP trunk? Also make sure the incoming GW's CSS can reach the pilot number.

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your attention.
Answering your questions:
>I would check codec first.
At the SIP trunk config the MTP Preferred Originating Codec is set to 711ulaw; I need to check with the responsible for the gateway to find out witch codec is being in use.
>Do you have MTP enabled for the SIP trunk?
Yes, I've check the option "Media Termination Point Required" at SIP trunk configuration.
I've tested with this optin unchecked, no diference.
>Also make sure the incoming GW's CSS can reach the pilot number.
GW's and pilot number are at the same CSS.
Any idea?

"GW's and pilot number are at the same CSS" didn't help very much
What we're looking for is "GW's CSS contains the partition of pilot number (and SIP trunk)"
If still no luck, we need to get "Cisco CallManager Logs" to take a look. Make sure you set debug level to detailed before reproducing the problem.

Hi Michael,
You were pretty right. That was codec. Changed the gateway to use g711ulaw and everything is right now. Thank you for your attention!
