Evening all :-)
I have come accross a weird one today regarding adding a SIP trunk that routes to Unity Connection.
The set up is a s follows:
Version 8.6.2ES44.22900-44
Unity_pub
Unity_sub
Configured as active active.
SIP trunk to Unity Pub routes correctly and voicemail is active.
I then created a sip trunk to the secondary unity box and dropped it in the route group and realised that calls were not even reaching that sip trunk.
I have been able to narrow it down to the secondary sip trunk and removed/re-added the trunk and still calls will not route thorugh it?!
I ran the port status monitor and saw calls were not even hitting unity, so I am thinking it is not even routing correctly through CUCM to hit the sip trunk?!
I have exhausted most options in the cucm config changed numbers, removed all trunks and re-added etc etc.
I am now reaching out.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards
D.

First of all, do you have port group and ports created for second UCXN server in UCXN?
Is the port group assocaited with proper CUCM servers?
How many CUCM servers do you have, and are you using "route on all nodes" on the SIP trunks and Route Lists pointing to UCXN?
Is the SIP trunk pointing to the proepr IP address, have you reset the trunk?

Hi Chris,
Yes everything is configured correctly.
As a last resort last night I re-booted the unity sub and the sip trunk worked !?!
Everything is working correctly now :-)
Thanks very much for responding
