Unified Communicator Through NAT

Hello,

I'm using Cisco Unified Personal Communicator on a MAC platform, my client connect to a Cisco VPN client and then launch the CUPC. The thing is the CUCM is behind another Firewall (Microsoft forefront or ISA server) which is doing NAT.

The client can connect well, use the desktop phone (no useful with a VPN connection) but can't use the softphone. I've got the message "unable to activate phone functionality".

Does CUPC support NAT? And is there any solution to setup this type of connection for my user?

Thanks for your answer,

Regards.

Mathieu

Hi,

CUPC 7.x (which is a must for Apple Mac) does not directly support NAT.

Here is the release notes - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cupc/7_1/english/release/notes/cupc71.html#wp39642

Thanks
