admin:utils system switch-version

Active Master Version: 10.5.1.10000-7

If you are switching to an earlier release, you must run:

utils dbreplication reset all
from the publisher after all the nodes are switched over.

Do you really want to switch between versions ?

Enter (yes/no)? yes

If you have locales installed, then upgrade from any version of 10.x will fail.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/10x/release/notes/10_5_2cucrn.html#pgfId-1957559

  • If you want to upgrade a Unity Connection 10.x server on which the language files are installed to Unity Connection 10.5(2), do the following steps:

– Download and install the ciscocm.cuc_10.5.2_preupgrade.cop.sgn cop file fromhttps://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?i=!y&mdfid=286268851&softwareid=282204704&release=COP-Files&os=.

– Uninstall the 10.5(1) language files.

– Upgrade the Unity Connection server to release 10.5(2).

– Install the 10.x language files.

Thanks for your. I do not have any locale installed.

Below is the TAC replied.

015-02-17 13:16:45 shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'ciscounityb'
2015-02-17 13:16:45 ++ for mount in '"${mount_points[@]}"'
 /partB/partB/spare
2015-02-17 13:16:45 ++ [[ 1 == 0 ]]
2015-02-17 13:16:45 +++ basename /partB/opt/cisco/connection/lib/install/uc_version_switch_passive
2015-02-17 13:16:45 ++ echo 'uc_version_switch_passive failed.'
2015-02-17 13:16:45 uc_version_switch_passive failed.
2015-02-17 13:16:45 ++ exit 1

Looks like shared memory not initialised for informix server.

Hi,

Is the issue finally resolved?

regds,

aman

Hi, I need to gather the logs to CIsco TAC for further analyze. Bear with me :)

From what Cisco TAC mentioned that my DBreplication has broken, he did a "remote support" which only applied to Cisco TAC access to resolve my problem.

He did mentioned "rebooting" the server may also resolve the problem as well.

thanks for updates[+5]
