Unity reports new msgs & 0 saved msgs while Exchange shows 400+ items for that subscirber mailbox. How can I have both applications see the same amount of msgs and retrieve the saved msgs by phone?
Thanx

Couple things here.
First, what kinds of messages are in there? emails? receipts? voice mails? faxes?
ARe the subscribers configured for UM? In other words do they have TTS capabilities such that emails will be reported from over the phone conversation? THis requires a TTS license, of course.
If the user is voice mail only (no access to email messages) Unity is only going to report messages marked as IPM.Note.Voice.Unity for access via the phone - these are voice mail messages.
Unity does allow access to saved messages but again the type of message and the licenses configured for the user are critica here.

Unity is in a VM only configuration.
The max limits on the mailbox have not been reached. New msgs are not always received. Some msgs went to CommServer\Unitymta\failed which means they didn't make it into exchange or the unaddressed inbox. Seems like it may be a communication issue between Unity & Exchange. Not sure.
Thanx
