Hi,
Got UNITY 4.0.1
Permitting Blank Password on the systems.
When a DN Dial UNITY, System still prompt for the password, even if it's empty.Cannot you skip by pressing # because, it use caller input rules.
Anyone have a guess.
Goal is to get a auto login feature.. (no password)

I'm not sure what you mean by caller input rules, but there have been a few bugs relating to blank password issues in the SA - the security folks at Cisco are keen on making sure we don't have exposed systems out there and having "direct dial in" boxes is very dangerous and unusual.
Have you tried changing the PW via the phone instead of the SA? Most of the bugs I found in DDTS related to blank password issues had to do with the SA not properly setting the PWDTMFID field to NULL correctly when setting it via the web - but the phone interface works so long as the PW policy is setup to allow blank passwords. When you go to set your password over the phone, just press "#" without entering a number - this should do it.
If that doesn't work we can look at manually setting the column to NULL.

Ok !
Thanks Jeff,
It appear than on my lab UNITY (4.0.1)
- Setting blank from SA doesnt clear the field
- Setting black from TUI doesnt clear the field also
I cleared the field manually and it start working.
That's not secure, but that's the way a 10000 phones site, want this to be....

one thing I forgot to mention - you should be able to do this with BulkEdit as well - it goes straight to SQL for you. On the Passwords tab for subscribers select the "force phone password to be" and then leave the PW field blank - it should do what you want.
