We are ready to upgrade from 3.1.5 to 4.0.3.
We use exchange 2000 off box only.
We did run the 4.0.1 permission wizard when we previously did the upgrade to 3.1.5
I read somewhere that 4.0.3 was requiring less permision priviledges than 3.1.5
So, should we reuse the accounts we currently use with 3.1.5 for the 4.0.3 upgrade or should we create brand new domain accounts
Do we have to rerun the permissions wizard if we keep the existing accounts.
Thanks

All that really matters is that the accounts running the services have the proper permissions.
I guess if it were up to me I would create new accounts and then run the permissions wizard against them but it isn't a requirement.
Thanks,
Keith

Check out the instructions in the 4.0(3) install guide for upgrading from a 3.1(x) system - the steps are pretty detailed:
Let us know if there's info in there that's not covered that you need.

I've read this document several time already.
It just says to create accounts and run the perm. wizard. I've alredy done that for 3.1.5
So I'm just trying to determine if it is best to keep the current domain accounts that I'm currently using with 3.1.5 or if creating brand new accounts to go with 4.0.3 is a better option and if that makes any differences.
