Hi,
Is it needed to have SMTP service running on Unity when it works within Exchange ?

Hi -
I believe SMTP is installed as part of the IIS suite when you prep the Unity server - IIS, SMTP, and W3SVC. You can go to Unity server control panel - add/remove programs and select the Windows components on the left side of console. Select IIS and you should be able to see the options for components.

Hi,
It is installed and running on every one of my Unity servers so I would assume this gets installed by default.
