Dears,
We have Customer purchase Cisco Unity 5 and server 7845-H-2 , after he receive the equipment , he decide to change the implementation , he want to install Cisco Unity Connection 8.x .
I want to ask , if I order new Unity Connection 8.x software ,I will receive Unix operating system with the software , and what will happen with the Unity license , can I use it with Unity connection , knowing that they already have Support to the license .

Assuming you have UCSS coverage you can actually place a PUT order to upgrade directly to Unity Connection with the same license entitlements. Just make sure that the specific MCS server you ordered is compatible (most Unity servers are).
