Hi,
Unity version is 4.2(1.0)
The AvNotifierMgr service is very slow to start and during the process of the service starting a number of errors are generated in the event log.
All Unity Services including the AvNotifierMgr service eventually start.
Very similar post here (with no resolution) from mid 2005;
