Unity Connection Version 7.1.3ES45 - Clustered, VoIP (~6000 users) and Centrex (~150 users) Phone Integrations
Starting yesterday all Centrex and some VoIP phone users were unable to hear their voice mail messages. They got message count, date stamp and who left the message but then got the message "the msg is not currently avavilable, to repeat press 2...". Messages could be accessed via CISCOPCA web interface.
We rebooted both the priamary and secondary servers, problem still there. Fell back to the secondary and the probelm appeared to clear. Centrex users are getting there messages but several VoIP users are now affected. I have opened a TAC case.
Any help/insight much appreciated.
Beth

Hi Beth,
Can you verify that the "Connection File Syncer" service is started on both pub and sub? That's usually the first place to look with this symptom since that's responsible for replicating the messages between the cluster.
Hope that helps,
Brad

Hi Brad,
Thanks for the response. I was working with TAC and that is what we did this morning and we have not had any problems since. Funny we did reboot the servers last night (which essentially restarts the Connection File Syncer service) and that did not clear the issue. Do you know why we got into this state?
Thanks again!
Beth
