Unity Domain Name Change.

I have a site that has UM 3.1.3 Exch5.5 offbox that is due to upgrade to Exchange 2003. The domain name will change as part of this.

I will upgrade Unity to 4.0.5 prior to making any changes.

Do I still have to do a DiRT then rebuild the box to do the domain name change? I guess I'll still have to upgrade to 405 1st.

If/when I do the rebuild if I do the DiRT BU on a Windows 2000 box, is it then OK to do the DiRT Restore onto a Windows 2003 server?

Any tips/hints greatly appreciated as ever.

DiRT doesn't care if the backup is from 2000 or 2003 (or if Exchange is on/off box etc...) - it gets only Unity specific data and messages (optional) off the box and restores them on a clean running server of the same version of Unity. So doing a backup of a system on 2000 and a restore onto 2003 as long as the backup and the restored servers are running the same version of Unity, it'll work fine.
