Hi,
I have a CME box with Unity Express and an FXO port connected to a standard PSTN line.
When I call in from an external source, it connects to the Unity Express fine and takes a message.
When you hang up, Unity Express doesn't detect this properly and records an egaged tone until it times out. The PSTN line is tied up while this happens.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark

That has to do with your FXO connection, not unity express. You can see this with a 'debug ccsip message'. Unity express will never get a SIP BYE message when the PSTN side is hung up. Take a look at:

Hi marschne,
That seems to have done the trick. It does still record a second of engaged tone, but its a lot better now,
Many thanks,
Mark
