When upgrading between Unity 4.0.4 and Unity 4.0.5, do you need to re-run the Failover Configuration Wizard, or can you just upgrade the software version on both primary and secondary Unity servers?

?Configure phone switch
?Run Unity setup and Configuration setup on either machine.
?Run Unity setup and Configuration setup on the other machine.
?Run Failover Configuration Wizard on either machine.
?Run Failover Configuration Wizard on the other machine. The wizard will take considerably longer on the primary machine as it prepares the SQL data. The SQL data will be replicated while running the wizard the second time.

I have commented a couple times on this in the forums here. In my personal expierence, I have not had good luck with Failover and upgrading Unity servers. Here is what I would do:
- Uninstall Failover on the both servers. (leave all the accounts, permissions, etc)
- upgrade primary server from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5
- upgrade secondary server from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5
- reinstall Failover Wizard
I have had upgrades go smoothly, but then Failover would never work right. A few, I had to rebuild the secondary server completely because it would just never sync right with the primary.
Hope this helps
cheers!
