Unity - Failover Scenario

If both the primary and secondary server are online but the secondary server is the "active" server. Are the changes that are made while the secondary server is active, immediately replicated back to the primary?

While in this scenario what should things look like under the replication monitor on the primary server DB while the secondary server is active.

ok, so obviously it is supposed to be replicated back to the primary:

I have a secondary server that has been active for a week and when you fail back to the primary any changes that occurred while the secondary has been active are lost.

I put a text file in the Stream folder on the secondary and it was indeed replicated to the Primary server Stream folder.

So not sure why when we fail back greetings are lost.

Is there anyway to force the secondary to replicate everything to the Primary (secondary is active right now).

If I bring up DB Walker on both servers the secondary (active) server has 100 more users in the "Directory" than the primary server.

Did you ever figure this out? We are running into the same thing. Changes made on the active server (in this case the secondary server) are not being replicated to the inactive server (primary server).

I am sure that failoverconfig.exe needs to be run again on both the primary first and then the seconday. Read this doc. Even though you are not changing IPs the doc goes through testing replication both ways.

rlp hope this helps you out.

Thanks! I will give it a shot.
