Unity 4.03 OS 2000 with Service pack 4. The weird thing is that the network setting always on the obtain an ip address automatically mode which is dhcp client mode. But if I type ipconfig, I see the static IP address. On the service I also disabled the dhcp client. Has anybody seen this problem? Maybe it's a SP4 bug?

Are you using an MCS 7815?

It looks like the workaround for this is the following:
1. Boot the server with the OS Installation Hardware Detection CD.
2. Select "New Installation or Server Replacement"
3. Continue though the installation process, this time leaving the DHCP option
set for the IP address and DNS/WINS settings.
4. Once the OS Installation process finishes, manually set the IP address and
DNS/WINS information.
Has anyone completed this task yet? If so, how long will the Unity be down and will I need to do any reconfiguration of voice mail.
Thanks

Also, I forgot to mention that this was loaded originally as a domain controller. Will that make any difference?
Thanks again
