Unity Subscriber Move

Hello,

I will be moving a group of users from one Unity server to another Unity server. At the same time, the users mailboxes will also be moving to another Exchange server.

I will need to add a connection within utim, will need to run the permissions wizard for the mailbox move, and will use gsm to move the users from one Unity server to the next.

Should I expect any problems from this process, or is this as simple as it is?

I am on Unity 4.0(4)SR1, and have upgraded GSM to 2.01.08.

Kind of hard to give it a thumbs up without seeing your network and such but so long as the mailstore you're moving to is reachable from the old and new server this should work ok. The GSM move user will only move which Unity server the subscriber is homed on and will continue to leave the record "pointed" at the exchange mailstore it was on before. Doing dual move operations like this can be a headache for permissions and such so definitely run one user all the way through (move them to the other Unity server, check that they're still working then move their mailstore and check it again) before trying to do them all.
