Unity with different Exchange boxes.

I have Unity 4.0.5 UM, all of our subscribers are allocated in our main Exchange. We are installing a second Exchange in the Directory, and im planning to allocate new subscribers there. Am I correct if I only need to run PW to grant permissions to the Mailstore or what would be the reason to re-run MSCW? I want that First exchange still be the main Exchange Unity points to.

You are correct. You do not need to run MSCW unless you want to point Unity to a new exchange-partner-server.
