Upgrade CUCM 11.5 to 14 Version with Cisco Business Edition

I have a customer who would like to upgrade the Cisco Unified CM from 11.5 to 14, the cluster Cisco Unified CM is installed on the Business Edition.

Is it possible to use the Direct Refresh Upgrade mechanism for Cisco Unified CM installed on a Business Edition to upgrade from 11.5 to 14?. I did this for Cisco Unified CM installed directly on the ESXI, so is it also supported on Business Edition since basically the VMs are deployed on ESXi Hypervisor.

Yes, direct refresh upgrade should be done in this scenario and you need to upgrade both the application software and the underlying operating system software.
