I would just like to confirm if an upgrade kit is required from Cisco if upgrading Unity from 4.0(3) - 4.0(4).
On the download section of Unity it does state many times that Cisco do not support upgrades without an upgrade kit, but is this only upgrades from older versions such as 3.x etc?
On checking the upgrade doc's I can't see anything that states you must have an upgrade kit for these paticular versions of 4.0.
If the kit is not required, I presume it is possible to just download the required CD's from CCO and upgrade the older version of 4.0(x).
Thanks....

For 4.0(x) to 4.0(4) upgrade, you do not need an upgrade kit. You can download the image from CCO. When you go to the UNITY 4.0 download page, look for "Images of Cisco Unity 4.0 CDs"

When it requests CD 3, is it the same language CD from the 4.0(3) CD set, or is there a newer version somewhere on CCO? I did not see the language CD's available for download. Please advise.
Thanks,
Paul
