Uploading cucm 11.5 os file with warning statement failed updrade task

Hi All,

I tried to proceed with the option "utils system upgrade initate > dvd local" in cli after inserting 11.5 OS into CUCM VM to upgrade the cucm 8.6 version to cucm 11.5, but it is not being uploaded as shown in the photo.

I thought it was a problem to proceed with the upgrade to 8.6 -> 11.5, so I tried the 10.5 version, but it failed with the same sentence.

The GUI will also fail with the statement "Download Status Warning Error counted: The selected file is not valid. MD5 Hash Value: -".

If you have the experience and know how to solve it, I would appreciate it if you could help me.

Thanks

Hi,

have you installed the required COP-file "ciscocm.version3-keys.cop.sgn" for upgrades from 8.6 to 11.5?

Also, don't forget to expand the vRAM to plus +2 GB on the CUCM machines:

Hi,

As mentioned here, please make sure you have "ciscocm.version3-keys.cop.sgn" file installed as this is mandatory. If you still face the issue, check the following:

- Validate the MD5 checksum value of the downloaded ISO file

- Also make sure that the VM configuration is changed as needed for the new version including the OS
