Hi Everyone,
My customer are using the BE6K Release 10.5 (CUCM, IM & Presence, Expressway C&E) with domain customerABC.com for Jabber to login from internet, now they would like to add new BE6K (separate system). Please help me to design for customer to use the same domain as above for new system.
Thank you,
Le.

There is nothing special you need to achieve this. Simply create the Forward and Reverse DNS entries in the customerABC.com domain on your DNS server for all the servers that you are planning to install on new BE6K. After this, when you install the applications, simply point to the required DNS server and specify the domain name as customerABC.com

Hi Deepak Rawat,
I'm confuse for the solution to make sure:
1. All current users (userA@customerABC.com, userB@customerABC.com, ..) will alway login into the current BE6K
2. All new users (userX@customerABC.com, userY@customerABC.com, ..) will alway login into the new BE6K (separate system, don't cluster with the current system)
Please send me a document to see that we can do this one.
Thank you,
Le

Hi Deepak,
Thank for your information. But in the documents, I only see many _cuplogin SRV record in the result with the same cluster (svr hostname = cucm1.customerABC.com, svr hostname = cucm2.customerABC.com in current system)
I think we need to have many _cuplogin SRV record in the result with many cluster (both current and new cluster) base on the username, for example:
- Return "svr hostname = cucm1.customerABC.com", and "svr hostname = cucm2.customerABC.com" if request from userA@customerABC.com
- Return "svr hostname = NEWcucm1.customerABC.com" and "svr hostname = NEWcucm2.customerABC.com" if request from userX@customerABC.com
I really appreciate your spending time with me.
Thank you,
Le
