Hi;
anyone can guide on how to configure cisco Unity to act as a welocme company greeting then forward the call to the desire extension. I used to use this with IPCC Express sure, but we have limited number of servers and the only option is to use the Unity version 5 to act as AutoAttendant, is that possible?

Hi,
The best way is to use a mixture of either call routing rules or call handlers. Take a look at the following docs:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/405/administration/guide/ex/sag_0195.html
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/administration/guide/ex/5xcusag030e.html
Hope that helps,
Brad

Hi Brad;
thanks for your reply and guide, it was very useful and as I understand from the link you provided is that I can setup a call handler and bypass the one-key dialing in order for the caller to be able to dial the full extension number, is that true?

Yes,
By default "Allow callers to dial an extension during greeting" is checked under the Caller Input section of the call handler, which enables users to dial an extension.
Hope that helps,
Brad

I just wanted to let you know there there is a great tool at http://www.ciscounitytools.com called Audio Text Manager, and it gives you a graphical way to manage your call handlers.
I have a few Unity VM trees, and it's saved me a bunch of time.
