vcube for DSPfarm

I have a ISR 2821 and need to look at a replacement for it.  Can I use a virtual device like vCube to act as a MTP/DSPfarm?  Or should I be looking at ISR 4000 series?  It has 64 PVDMs but we don't use that many channels, at most we use 10 to 15 channels.  Thanks
