Hi all,

I have VG 224 at remote site configured as SCCP endpoints in central CUCM 10.5

VG configuration attached.

ISR4000 series router is setup as SRST router at remote site. Upon initiating SRST failover, all the IP phones at remote site registers to SRST router and works as expected. But VG224 analog endpoints remains out of service.

in SRST router if we check sh ephone registered, the we can see analog endpoints registered with extension number.

On the Gateway, sh sccp output shows SRST router IP address as the active call manager.

But sh stcapp device summary shows device IDLE at first and then after a few seconds it goes OOS

Does anyone have VG224 analog extensions working in SRST mode?

One thing that I have noticed is that the port number of the registered ephone in SRST router is 2/0/0 and 2/0/1 whereas the port numbers of VG224 is 2/0 and 2/1. not sure if this has any affect in anyway.

CUCM IP: 10.180.36.204 version 10.5

SRST router IP: 10.181.182.226, IOS Version 15.5(3)S6

VG IP: 10.181.172.17, IOS Version 15.1(4)M10

In SRST router you have to configure:

Voice register global --> SIP SRST (probably you have already configured)

Telephony Service --> SCCP SRST (this way VG will register there)

example:

telephony-service
srst mode auto-provision none
srst dn line-mode dual
max-ephones 200
max-dn 300 no-reg both
ip source-address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx port 2000
olsontimezone Europe/Athens version 2011h
time-zone 24
time-format 24
date-format dd-mm-yy
max-conferences 8 gain -6
transfer-system full-consult
transfer-pattern .....

If you have both configured please attach also SRST router configuration.

This scenario will work.

I am using call-manager-fallback to enable SRST.

Please find the attached SRST router configuration.

Almost all of my ip phones are SCCP as well.
