Folks,
We are a multitenant environment. Are are prepending extra digits to extensions when they dial into Unity. We would like to change the default opening prompt "enter your ID" to something else, like " please enter your 6 digit extension". Is it possible to do that in Unity 4.0(4)SR1. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tarun

Hi Tarun,
Modifying default Unity prompts is not supported by TAC, just to let you know.
The files you need are listed in the prompt.ini file located in the commserver\localize\prompts\ENU\(CODEC you are using)\AvSubsignin.

Hi -
You can use Unity's own Media Master to do the recording, either from Unity Assistant web page or ViewMail for Outlook. Use your phone as the recording device. Make your recording. Click the black down arrow on the Media Master form and select Copy to File. A window opens which you can select the file path for saving the *.wav file. In your case, this would be the file name that matches the file you want to replace in Unity. Don't forget to save a backup copy of the file before overlaying it with your new one. As mentioned before, these files are restored to the Unity defaults during installs and upgrades.
Sincerely,
Ginger
