Hi

3rd party vm server and unity server connects to same CCM cluster and connects to same Exchange domain/AD

In this case on the delivery and primary location we'll ocnfigure the same smtp domain.

My question is: how the exchange know which voice connector it should send to sicne both are in the same smtp domain? say sender from unity is 1234@cisco.com and receveier on the 3rd party is 5234@cisco.com. Will dial ID help this?

VPIM networking connects disparate voicemail systems to each other and the way those systems are uniquely identified within the VPIM network is by domain name. The same domain name cannot be used to identify 2 different systems in that network.
