I recently deployed the SDWAN image on an ISR4431. To make it use the SDWAN features, you have to change the mode to controller mode. Moving the device to controller mode worked well. The interface for vManage did a great job of pushing out the config with just enough local config applied to the device to get it to talk to Viptela to establish the control connections.
That said, when you move the device to controller mode, even with the latest version of IOS (17.4.1a), the voice features are pared down. This means that you can't add all the configuration settings required for Webex Calling such as all the settings in the voice tenant. It works fine in autonomous mode, but then you can't do SDWAN.
I've opened a case and it's been confirmed that this isn't available yet. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm considering setting up a CSR1000v to use for Webex Calling and pointing the SIP connection to that.
