Hi All,
We will having an activity for the upcoming week where one of our voice gateway located at the remote site will be transferred to another site.
We would like to know of what should we check prior of transfer of the Voice Gateway since we will change the IP Address of the VG.
We've decided that we will not retain the IP Address of the VG since the site where the VG will be transferred is on another Subnet
Since we will change the IP Address of the VG, we will change also the IP Address of the VG in the CUCM where the VG registered as H323.
Setup
Registered as H323 in the CUCM
Transcoder and Conference registered to CUCM
With Auto Attendant configured (CUE) --------> CTI Route Point in CUCM
IP route to the Gateway (The IP of Gateway will be changed also) - ip routing need to modify also
IP route to the IP Address of Auto Attendant
Appreciate your inputs feedback on this. Thanks!

Hi,
- Change the IP Address of the GW
- Change the IP Route of the GW ( otherwise you won't be able to reach it )
- If you are using binding under the Interface , change it to the correct ( new ) IP address
On the CUCM :
- Replace the IP Address of the H.323 GW , and RESET the connection from the CUCM
- If you are using the GW as Media Resource for any kind ( MTP , XCODE .. etc ) , you have to reset those ..
Thanks A lot,
Ahmed Salah
